The Brazilian company that focus on the intensive care market and specializing in pulmonary ventilation, Magnamed presents Brazilian technology at Africa Health Exhibition, the continent's largest health care exhibition, which will be held from June 7 to 9 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Magnamed’s highlight at the international fair will be the OxyMag, pulmonary ventilator for transport, with preprogrammed modules that can assist all types of patients from neonatal to adult.
The OxyMag weighs only 3 kg and can be used in helicopters, ambulances, hospitals, clinics and emergency care units. Another difference is the battery's autonomy lasting for more than six hours.
"With our presence in Africa Health, we expect to get more participation in the private market, with real chances in the main hospitals," says Reginaldo Damião, COMEX Manager.
